    Ich bin nicht so begeistert. Mir ist einfach der Fortschritt viel zu langsam. Man hält sich ewig an Punkten auf, die man schon verstanden hat. Das ist ersten ziemlich langweilig und zweitens sehr ineffizient.

    Früher war die App sehr übersichtlich und unaufgeregt. Es gab keine Bestenlisten, und man hatte das Gefühl, wirklich in seinem Kämmerlein zu sitzen und für sich alleine konzentriert Aufgaben zu lösen. Ich verstehe, dass Gamification einigen weiterhilft, aber es so penetrant zu gestalten. Ist wirklich super schade. Die besten Rangliste ist wie bei einem Micro Transactions Spiel mittig an steuerbar, so dass man zwangsläufig aus Versehen drauf kommt, es ist mittlerweile wissenschaftlich bewiesen, dass äußere Motivation, also Belohnung nicht halb so effizient ist wie innere Motivation, also verstehe ich nicht, warum man hier ständig penetrant mit äußeren Belohnungen genervt wird, wie die ewigen Steak Challenges oder der neue (lineare, lol) skilltree für die Kurse. Das führt eben nicht dazu, dass man mehr lernt, sondern einfach dazu, dass man für sich sinnlose Kurse macht, nur weil sich das Belohnungsgefühl gut anfühlt. Komplett unverständlich, warum man die Duolingostrategie wählt, bei der es klar ist, dass User time maximiert werden soll, statt wirklich Wissen vermittelt.

    The app is ok. It’s a lot like a school textbook I wish it would have shorter lessons and more interactivity, audio, video, other quiz types, games. I often just zone out and want to get to the end of a lesson because it’s not motivating and inspiring. I do feel more inspired to he proactive and to find other resources on the topics to learn, so that is great!
