AMAT Performance Training App The AMAT Performance Training App is the perfect tool for players looking to improve their athletic development for football. Do you want to get stronger, quicker, more agile and better conditioned? You can select three training programmes to view on the training app. You would select one from each of the following categories. Corrective/Preparation Category The programme you choose from either ankle, hip, posture or shoulder will be age specific and the focus of these exercises will be to help you improve the area that you choose from a flexibility, mobility and stability perspective. These exercises will be automatically updated on a 1-6 week basis. Skeleton man (3D format) demonstrates these exercises showing exactly which muscles you are working on. Athletic Movement Skills The development of athletic movement skills is vitally important for footballers. These programmes are age specific (combined athletic skills, upper body athletic skills, lower body athletic skills and dynamic athletic skills programmes) and are designed to prepare you to fully maximise your athletic potential when you undertake the football specific training programme. Again, the exercises will be automatically updated on a 1-6 week basis. These exercises are shown on video featuring coaching points and exercise information. Football Specific Programmes As a footballer wanting to get stronger, quicker, more agile or better conditioned, select the programme from the following categories: strength, speed, agility or conditioning. These programmes are age specific and designed to enhance/develop such attributes. It is vitally important that you undertake the athletic movement skills programme of your choice as these football specific programmes will prepare you to maximise your athletic potential.
